The scientific journal “Problems of Computational and Applied Mathematics” is a peer-reviewed periodical scientific publication. Despite the fact that this publication is relatively new, nevertheless, it inherits a rather long and rich history of the collection of scientific papers “Problems of Computational and Applied Mathematics”, published at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan since 1970. Since 2016, the journal has been included publications recommended for publication of scientific results, VAK of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and since 2018 – in the list of peer-reviewed journals of VAK under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. The journal is also registered in the RISC database. The editors are working to incorporate the journal into authoritative international databases of scientific publications (EBSCO, Scopus, WoS). We invite the authors to actively participate in the formation of the next issues, and in particular, young scientists carrying out research on the scientific direction of the journal. The main objective of the scientific journal “Problems of Computational and Applied Mathematics” is the coverage of the results of fundamental and applied scientific research, experimental development of employees of educational, research and production institutions, applicants for a PhD degree.
The main tasks of the journal include: the formation of the scientific component in universities, the promotion of the achievements of existing scientific schools; encouragement of open scientific controversy, contributing to the improvement of the quality of scientific research, the effectiveness of the examination of scientific ideas and works; identification of scientific potential for the introduction of advanced scientific achievements; assistance in expanding scientific cooperation with other scientific and publishing centers in the CIS and far abroad.

- mathematical modeling of physical, technical, biological and socio-economic systems;
- computational mathematics and numerical methods for solving applied problems;
- solving inverse and incorrectly assigned tasks;
- data mining, pattern recognition and image processing;
- artificial intelligence and knowledge processing technologies;
- technologies of parallel and distributed computing;
- programming technology.
